Middle school gifted students at Six Mile Charter Academy are learning about our watersheds and the importance of their maintenance. The students are building a model of a watershed to watch the effects of
pollution on its delicate balance. In addition, fifth grade gifted students are learning about a different aspect of our aquatic environment. They are looking at samples from our local pond and counting the different species, attempting to identify, discuss, and analyze invasive species and their effect on local habitats. We are proud of all of our students and the leadership they provide in preserving our treasured ecosystems in Southwest Florida!
